City Savings Bank opened its 2nd branch in Region 12 at Koronadal City, South Cotabato last July 24; this is the 10th in Mindanao and 82nd branch nationwide.

Leonardo Balala, Schools Division Superintendent and Cyrus Urbano, City Adminstrator joined the CitySavings team led by Catalino Abacan, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jose Levi Villanueva, Executive Vice President for Channel Management, Amor Querido Pavon and Vicente Camay, Jr., Regional Business Head and Regional Operations Head for Mindanao respectively.

“Sa tulong po ng DepEd sanay makaagapay namin ang mga guro. Sila po ay aming partner. Kailangan namin ang patronage ng teachers para makapunta kami sa maraming lugar para tulungan ang mga guro. (With the help of DepEd, we hope that the teachers will be our partners. We need the patronage of the teachers so we can go to as many places so we can help the teachers.”, shared Abacan.

“We are very thankful that you chose Koronadal to put up your 82nd branch. A sign that a place is progressive is when banks put up a branch in the place. We welcome you here in Koronadal”, said Urbano.

“We are very happy that you are opening City Savings Bank for our teachers to be financially free as long as they know how to manage their finances. There are a lot of teachers who are buried in debt because they go to the wrong institution. I myself get a loan but I invested it. We hope that we will be partners to help the teachers financially and also with the corporate social responsibility that CitySavings offers.”, mentioned Balala.

“The thing that makes us motivated to open branches are the teachers. We improve our processing so that we can serve our teachers well.”, added Villanueva.

The branch located at Villa Amor Door 14 General Santos Drive corner Arellano Street, Koronadal City, South Cotabato expects to serve 20,000 public school teachers.
