City Savings Bank opened its 2nd branch in Region 9 at Dipolog City last July 31; this is the 11th in Mindanao and 84th branch nationwide.

Hon. Evelyn T. Uy, City Mayor, Ma. Liza Tabilon, Assistant School Superintendent of Dapitan City, and Victorina Perez, Division Superintendent of Dipolog City joined the CitySavings team led by Eugene Acevedo, Chairman of the Board, Catalino Abacan, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jose Levi Villanueva, Executive Vice President for Channel Management, Emmanuel Santiago, Executive Vice President for Microfinance and Amor Querido Pavon, Regional Business Head for Mindanao.

“In CitySavings, we lend to public school teachers at a rate which is much lower than what they can borrow from other sources. When teachers walk into a CitySavings Branch, they will get the respect that they are given in the community. Ma’am, this is your branch and you can feel the affection that we have for public school teachers.”, shared Acevedo.

“I appreciate the gesture of the leaders who have conceptualized the project that caters to the needs of the teachers. We are looking forward to this opportunity of partnering with you so that together we can collaborate in looking after the welfare of our teachers.”, said Tabilon.

“Maraming salamat sa CitySavings sa pagpapahalaga ninyo sa mga teachers at palagay ko ay maa-apreciate nila ito. (We thank CitySavings for valuing the teachers and I think they will appreciate this very much.)”, mentioned Perez.

“CitySavings is a big help to the teachers because you have a low interest rate. We hope that the teachers will patronize you and avail a loan in your bank.”, added Uy.

The branch located at Sergio Osmeña St., Central Barangay, Dipolog City expects to serve 10,000 public school teachers.
