City Savings Bank opened its 9th branch in Region 3 at Angeles City, Pampanga last March 26; this is the 39th in Luzon and 71st branch nationwide.

Hon. Vicky Vega Kabigting, Vice Mayor, Alvin Lin-gad, Officer-in-Charge of RPSU-DepEd, and Zita Santos, Supervising Admin Officer – DepEd joined the CitySavings team led by Catalino Abacan, President and Chief Executive Officer and Dennis Cablayan, Regional Operations Head for Region 3 together with the support team from Pampanga branch.

“Our target at the end of the year is 100 branches. We will open about 13 more branches and 16 other banking offices this year. Bakit po kami nag expand? “Salamat po at kayo ay nagtayo ng branch dito sa Angeles City para po ang mga teachers dito sa Angeles at sa Mabalacat ay malapit na po dito. Hindi na sila pupunta sa San Fernando. (We are grateful that you have put up a branch here in Angeles City so that the teachers who are from Angeles and Mabalacat are near the branch and they don’t have to go to San Fernando branch. ” Lin-gad mentioned.

Marami po ang inyong potential market dito. We will rely on what you said Mr. President that although you earn in this situation, uunahin po ninyo ang kapakanan ng teachers. We have around 2,000 public school teachers and another 2,000 private school teachers. You have a big potential market here. We rely on what you said Mr. President that although you earn in this situation, your priority is still the welfare of the teachers. The branch located at Diamond Spring Hotel, 192 McArthur Highway, Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga expects to serve 3,000 public school teachers in Angeles City, Mabalacat, Porac, Magalang and Florida West.
