CitySavings receives DepEd Region 8 Plaque of Appreciation

Due to its valuable support and generous donations to the schools devastated by Typhoon Yolanda, CitySavings was given a Plaque of Appreciation by the Department of Education-Region 8. The recognition was given during the regional office’s celebration of their 39th Founding Anniversary held last July 27, 2014 at the Regional Teachers’ Training Center, Candahug, Palo, Leyte with the theme “Pasasalamat”.
Representing CitySavings were Linda Flor Hortezano, VP-Branch Operations, together with Adrian Ruiz, Area Manager-Region 8 and Branch Heads/Officers-in-Charge of Eastern Visayas branches.
The recognition of DepEd to various stakeholders was one of the highlights of the event. Appreciation was given to both local and foreign organizations who in one way or another has supported and extended enormous assistance for the rehabilitation and fast recovery of Eastern Visayas.
